Peter Obi sets the record straight
On Saturday, 22 August 2026, a new video appeared on Randy Peterz’s Instagram story showing the two together as Obi directly addressed the viral clip.

The politician said he was taken aback by the interpretation people placed on what had happened, pointing to another individual nearby as evidence that he made the same gesture to that person as well.
Randy Peterz also chimed in during the video, clarifying that Obi had simply been asking them to head to his car, and that it was never a case of him being shunned or dismissed.

Prophetess warns Peter Obi
