FCT, Abuja – The Federal Government released the 2026/2027 admission list for candidates offered places in Junior Secondary School One (JSS1) at Federal Unity Colleges across Nigeria.
Legit.ng reports that the Education Minister, Dr Maruf Tunji Alausa, approved the release, saying it reflects the government’s commitment to a transparent admission process.
Parents and guardians can now confirm whether their children or wards secured a place through the Federal Ministry of Education’s designated posting portal at fmeposting.com.ng.
How to check Unity Schools admission list
According to Vanguard, candidates should follow the steps below to check their names on the admission list:
- Visit the FME Posting Portal at https://fmeposting.com.ng/auth/login.
- Log in using the required details.
- Check the candidate’s admission status.
- If offered admission, download and print the admission slip.
- Proceed to the Federal Unity College stated on the admission slip for confirmation and completion of the required admission formalities.
To access the admission result, candidates’ parents or guardians should visit the FME Posting Portal and log in using the required details.
Once logged in, they can view the candidate’s admission status directly on the platform.
Where admission has been offered, the portal allows users to download and print the official admission slip.
The slip will indicate the specific Federal Unity College to which the candidate has been assigned. Families are then required to proceed to that school in person to complete confirmation and all other admission formalities.
For those without reliable internet access, the Federal Ministry of Education has also made provision for physical checks. Parents and guardians can view the admission list on the notice board of the relevant Federal Unity College in their area.
