Dangote Fertiliser Limited (DFL) has released the official steps that businesses and individuals must follow to become distributors of its Urea fertiliser product in Nigeria, setting out a four-step process that begins with federal government registration.
The company said prospective distributors must start by registering with the Farm Input Support Services (FISS) Department of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security through the National Fertiliser Management Programme portal at www.nfmp.gov.ng.

How to Apply for a Dangote Fertiliser Distributorship
Once the initial registration is complete, applicants will receive distributorship application forms, registration guidelines, and Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence forms via email.

- CAC certificate
- Certified True Copy (CTC) of the Memorandum and Articles of Association
- Certified True Copy (CTC) of the Certificate of Incorporation

Submission process
- Submit the completed forms and supporting documents in person at DFL’s office at Km 15, Lekki Coastal Road, Okunraye, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos.
- Applicants may also send the documents by courier.
- After a successful review, DFL will create a customer code.
- An appointment letter will then be sent to the applicant via email.
- The newly registered distributor can subsequently begin commercial engagement and place orders.

Minimum Order Quantities and Support Services
DFL’s Dangote Urea Fertiliser, sold in 50kg bags, must be ordered in full truckload quantities.
Available truck sizes carry either 30 metric tonnes (600 bags), 36 metric tonnes (720 bags), or 45 metric tonnes (900 bags).
Beyond the distributorship process, DFL also highlighted the support services it offers to farmers.
These include the Dangote Agricultural Service (DAS), which provides expert training, demonstration farms, field days, and multilingual farmer support, as well as a free mobile soil testing service that assesses nutrient needs and advises on the right fertiliser application.
The company said its Urea fertiliser, which carries a nitrogen content of 46 per cent, is designed to deliver even field coverage, faster crop growth, and higher yields while remaining easy to handle due to its low moisture content.

Dealers release new Dangote, BUA, Lafarge cement prices
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that cement prices across Nigeria remain highly inconsistent revealing that buyers in different states and cities can pay vastly different amounts for the same brand and bag size, depending on where they shop and who they buy from.
The survey covered dealer listings for Dangote Cement, BUA Cement, Lafarge Cement, and Mangal Cement, as well as multi-brand distributors operating nationwide.
BUA Cement was the most affordable option recorded in the survey, with major distributors quoting N8,500 per 50kg bag.
