Tega Dominic, Amaka Okeke, threaten legal action against Frank Edoho’s ex-wife over extramarital allegations

Former BBNaija housemate Tega Dominic and Nigerian business executive Amaka Okeke have broken their silence on allegations levelled against them by Sandra Onyenucheya, the ex-wife of veteran broadcaster and show host Frank Edoho.

PREMIUM TIMES reported that Ms Sandra, an interior designer, accused the former host of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” of engaging in extramarital affairs with Ms Dominic, Ms Okeke, and one Adaeze Ugboaja during her marriage to him.

She made the allegations while responding to separate allegations that she had an affair with singer Chike during her marriage to Mr Edoho.

Reacting to the allegations, Ms Dominic and Ms Okeke both denied any sexual or romantic involvement with Mr Edoho.

While Ms Ugboaja has yet to respond publicly, both Ms Dominic and Ms Okeke maintained their denials in separate statements posted on their Instagram pages on Friday.

Ms Dominic stated that she initially did not want to speak on the matter but felt it necessary to respond after spending a long time avoiding unnecessary drama.

She added that she could no longer remain silent in the face of the allegations.

She said, “I have absolutely no sexual or emotional relationship with Frank Edoho. Frank is a great guy and a very good friend of mine. We started talking around mid-last year after he sent my mum birthday wishes.

“Like many people in the industry, we already knew each other through social media and mutual familiarity. He is also my Kingsman. There was never anything inappropriate between us.”

The reality TV star stated that she had worked too hard to build her brand and identity to allow false accusations to tarnish her name.

She said she owed the clarification to her family, friends, supporters, and the reputable brands she had worked with, to protect her reputation.

While challenging Ms Sandra to provide evidence, she confirmed that her legal team would take up the matter.

“I believe it is important for evidence to be provided because I will not let this slide. My name cannot be dragged carelessly into false narratives.

“This has honestly been very upsetting for me, but moving forward, my lawyers will handle the matter appropriately. There will be consequences. This will be the only time I address this matter”, Tega said.

Relationship

Opening up about the relationship she had with Mr Edoho, she said, “The first and only time I hung out with Frank was with my manager, Paul Ukonu, present. I have absolutely nothing to hide. And honestly, if I ever had anything to do with Frank romantically.

“I would say it with my full chest. He was separated at the time, and I am also separated. If you know me, you know I have never been the type to hide or sneak around. I say things exactly as they are.”

Amaka speaks

On her part, Ms Okeke said she met Mr Edoho in 2024 strictly on business-related matters.

She said they became good friends in May 2025, during a period when Mr Edoho was dealing with a personal issue.

Ms Okeke, who declined to disclose the nature of the personal matter for privacy reasons, said any narrative beyond this account was completely false.

She noted, “I am deeply disappointed to see my name attached to Narratives that are malicious, baseless, and entirely inaccurate. I kindly ask that people refrain from spreading unverified claims that may harm individuals, families, and reputations.

“I remain focused on my work and will not be engaging further on this matter. My legal team have been informed accordingly and will take action in due course. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with support.”

Backstory

This newspaper reported that in June 2025, the renowned broadcaster announced the end of his second marriage to Ms Sandra.

He stated that life unfolded in different seasons and that, at times, moving forward quietly remained the most dignified path.

Mr Edoho was previously married to TV personality Katherine Obiang, with whom he shared three children.

Their marriage ended in 2010 after seven years, with Katherine citing domestic violence.

In 2013, Mr Edoho married Sandra in a traditional ceremony while she was pregnant with their son. The couple welcomed their first child in 2014 and a second in 2016.

A year later, they held a low-key white wedding attended by close family and friends.
