Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is still soaking in the joy of Galatasaray’s latest Turkish Super Lig victory after helping the club secure a historic fourth consecutive league title over the weekend.
The Nigerian forward was once again the hero for the Istanbul giants as Galatasaray came from behind to defeat Antalyaspor 4-2 in front of a jubilant home crowd on Saturday, May 9.

Osimhen delivered a match-winning display, scoring twice in the dramatic comeback victory, including calmly converting a penalty he had won himself.
His performance earned him the highest player rating of the game, with WhoScored awarding him an impressive 8.04 rating.
The title marks Osimhen’s second consecutive Super Lig win since arriving at Galatasaray, further cementing his growing status as one of the club’s most influential foreign stars in recent years.
Despite battling injuries during the campaign and missing games due to international duty at the Africa Cup of Nations, the striker has remained one of Galatasaray’s most decisive players.
Since joining the Lions in 2024, Osimhen has now scored 40 goals in 52 Super Lig appearances, an incredible return that continues to strengthen his reputation as one of Europe’s deadliest forwards.
Osimhen and Onuachu enjoying night out in Turkey
Following the emotional title celebrations at RAMS Park, Osimhen took the festivities away from the football pitch as he was spotted partying with fellow Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu in a Turkish nightclub.
Videos and photos circulating online showed both Nigerian internationals dancing and celebrating happily alongside friends in what appeared to be a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.
The pair looked in high spirits as they enjoyed the night together after a demanding season in Turkish football.
Osimhen and Onuachu also share a strong bond from international football, having both played key roles for Nigeria during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, where the Super Eagles secured a bronze medal finish.

While Osimhen celebrated another league title, his Super Eagles teammate Onuachu is currently leading the race for the Turkish Super Lig golden boot this season.
The Trabzonspor striker has enjoyed an outstanding campaign in front of goal and currently tops the scoring chart with 22 league goals heading into the final game of the season, TNT Sports reports.
Osimhen, despite missing several matches through injury and AFCON commitments, has still managed to score 15 league goals in just 22 appearances.
Both players have been among the standout African stars in Turkey this season, contributing massively to their clubs’ performances.
For Galatasaray fans, however, the biggest prize has already been secured after Osimhen inspired the club to another historic league title.

In another development, Legit.ng reported that Osimhen has extended his kind gesture to a Galatasaray fan after his team won the Turkish league this season.
The Super Eagles striker sighted a fan who gave him a Nigerian flag, and in exchange, the former Napoli striker gave him his league-winning jersey.
