The video, which was shared on X, showed the lady explaining that “disrespect comes with nature” when a woman earns the same as her man.
Reacting to the clip, an X user identified as Ayo-Elesho criticised the woman’s statement, arguing that her comments suggested she would disrespect her partner if he ever lost his job or faced financial difficulties.
He said:
“This lady said she can’t respect someone in the same income bracket as her because “disrespect comes with nature.”
This means that if her man loses his job, she’ll disrespect him.
When asked to give her boyfriend a shoutout, she couldn’t mention his name, probably because she was dating multiple guys.
I hope her ‘serious’ boyfriend sees this video and does the needful.”
