It was a moment of celebration for actress Oyebade Adebimpe, also known as Mo Bimpe, as she finally got to celebrate her first Mother’s Day.
Legit.ng recalls reporting that 2026 Mother’s Day was celebrated on Sunday, May 10, with the likes of Ned Nwoko and Olakunle Churchill hailing the mothers of their children.

It was also a special one for Lateef Adedimeji’s wife as it marked her first time celebrating Mother’s Day.
Lateef Adedimeji, in a moving message, noted how people asked questions and counted the years, yet she stood through it all, not bitter, loud, or broken, but quietly powerful.
According to the actor, his wife is a living testament to the fact that delay isn’t denial.
“Before the world called you “mother,” I called you strength. Before the titles, the noise, the expectations… You were already everything. They counted years. We counted blessings. They asked questions. We built faith. And through it all, you stood Not loud, not bitter, not broken… Just quietly powerful,” Lateef wrote.

The actor shared how God came through for him and his wife, blessing them with not just one child but triplets.
“Because truly, you are a living testament that Delay is not denial — it’s divine storytelling. Today, I celebrate you not just for giving life, But for the life you’ve always been.
