Lagos State University Graduate Who Wrote JAMB Twice Bags Second Class Upper Leaks Chat With Dad

A computer science graduate of Lagos State University (LASU) has gone viral on X after sharing the chat he had with his father following his graduation from the prestigious institution.

The recent graduate, identified as @mayomadee7, in one of his tweets on X, shared how he had written Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) two times before he was admitted into LASU.

He said:

“I finished secondary school in 2020 and didn’t take JAMB that year because I wanted to learn a skill and I wasn’t ready for uni yet.”

“That same 2020, I started learning graphic design and stopped some months later because not having a laptop was a limitation or so I thought.”

“In 2022, I still couldn’t afford a laptop but I decided to take things into my own hands and started learning frontend development on my mobile phone.”

“In that same 2022, I wrote my second JAMB and got admitted into LASU to study computer science after not meeting the cut-off mark the previous year.”

LASU graduate shares chat with father

After graduating from Computer Science, he shared his achievements in a tweet posted on August 21, 2026. According to him, he graduated with a second-class upper of 4.37 CGPA.

He said:

“While in uni, I was:

– Appointed as a Lagos State Youth Ambassador

– Spoke on national TV three times, on TVC and Rave TV

– Won Best Debater at the LASU Debate Society 2025/2026

Speaking further, in another tweet, he leaked the conversation he had with his father. His dad, who was proud of him, congratulated him and said:

“Congratulations to you on your convocation day. As you celebrate today, may you continually have more reasons to celebrate IJN. Though, I’m not with you in body, GOD is with in spirit. Have a fulfilled day, buddy.”
