“That time I did wedding, that was how one idiot tagged EFCC that they should investigate me that people threw money on the floor during the event,” he said.

What happened when EFCC invited him?

Peller disclosed that he eventually honoured the EFCC invitation and appeared before officials to explain the circumstances surrounding the money at his wedding.

However, he believes his repeated warnings to guests not to throw money on the floor helped him during the process.

He said the EFCC officials considered his conduct at the ceremony and described them as “wise” and “good people”.

“They called, and sent me invite and I went. They said what saved me was because they saw the way I was cautioning everybody not to throw money on the ground,” Peller added.

Reflecting on the experience, the TikToker questioned why some people would allegedly spend time trying to cause problems for others because of their wealth.
