The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Tuesday, August 25, 2026, a public holiday to mark Eid ul Mawlid, encouraging citizens to pray for unity.
The Federal Government declared a public holiday as Muslim faithful across Nigeria prepared to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad.
Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo urged Nigerians to reflect on the values of compassion, humility and service associated with the life of Prophet Muhammad.
